Erin Nielsen
I am super blessed to have the opportunity to step into the leadership role at MVLP, it has been long-time in the making. I began my early childhood career with my own in-home preschool, then switched gears to homeschool our three children for 6 years, just for the mere fact to be a part of their education, grow in our faith together, and become closer as a family. Our homeschooling chapter has come to an end and I am back to teaching preschool. I have come to realize early childhood, especially the preschool age, is my true passion, and I am blessed to not only be apart of children’s lives everyday but to also teach in God’s house and my own church.
God has blessed me with an amazing husband for 18 years and we look forward to many more to come! All three of our children are attending EVHS this year. Our oldest, Gage is a senior, Brody is a Sophomore and Hadlee is a freshman. My husband and I are both natives of Colorado and love the small, beautiful community of Eagle. Prior to starting my own preschool, I had worked as an Interior Designer and in the summertime, my husband and I run two campgrounds close to Eagle.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Environment, Textiles and Design from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and I finished my degree in early childhood education from Colorado Mountain College. I am enjoying my journey as a mother with my own children, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to care and grow with your children. I am so excited about the opportunity to stimulate your child’s physical, intellectual, social, and emotional needs and most importantly, sharing God’s word every day with them, to grow in their spirituality. I love to explore through the eyes of children and live through their imaginations.
Blessings, Ms. Erin
